As salam alaikum,

I am having trouble using Internet on my desktop computer. Every time I double click Internet Explorer, it was open and in one second closes, this happens everytime I doulbe click the Internet Explorer icon. What can I do? do you think the Control Panel will help fix this problem?

Please help me improve this problem?

Don't use internet explorer. If you can somehow get firefox and insstall it on your desktop computer. It is a better program.

I need to know more details, but it does not seem you have a connectivity problem (connecticivity problem- the internet is not working)but just a problem with the internet explorer program.

It is hard to tell without knowing more. Please let me know if you have more questions or info.

I went to conrol panel and click Internet Options> Security>

and then what level should I keep the Security Settings: Internet, Local Intranet, Trusted Sites, & Restricted Sites. (High, Medium, or Low). what should the Custom Level and/or Default Level be?

salams bro. just keep the default settings. There is obviously a corruption in your pc.

I would suggest uninstalling Internet explorer7 but before doing that somehow download mozilla and install it so you still have a web browser. Then run some spyware eg lavasoft  clean up your pc. If you know how to use Hijackthis software then download and run that too to clean up your registry hooks. Once you have done all that try reinstalling IE7. Hope that helps.

Ohh. Its keep crashing han.. trya use virus scan (anti-virus... AVG is free on net) and ad-aware scan.,... there are mnay free around.. try Ad-aware from Lava soft.. Spybot - Search & Destroy
