Salams...

The scroll bar at the bottom of my screen seems to have dissappeared since you moved to London....

is that just for my computer, or is that a problem for everybody?

I cannot scroll sideways to see my new events notification or to log off... cannot see the links anymore on hte right side....

Assalaamu Aleikum.  I hope this message finds you well, insha Allah.  It seems that I was having the same problem when the site changed into this new format.  I was having the same issue.  It took me a little bit, but I finally realized that I had to decrease my screen resolution, from the Control Panel.  I hope this helps, insha Allah.

Please follow these instructions to change your screen resolution to at least 1024 x 768:

First right-click on the desktop and then left click on Properties from the menu that appears.

The display properties dialogue box will appear as shown in fig 1.1 below, click on the settings tab at the top right of the box.

 

The areas worth noting are:

Screen Resolution
This slide bar is what you use to change the resolution, the options you have will depend on your graphics card and monitor, but the standard options are 800x600, 1024x768 and 1152x864.

Normally the default (in XP) is set to 800x600 which means the display will be 800 pixels wide and 600 pixels high.

Color Quality
This pull down box will contain the current colour options available, again this will depend on your grahics card and monitor, for best results select the highest option available.

Thanks to everybody for responding...

I have it at work set to what you suggested Mohammad... in which case I dont currently need a scroll bar... because the screen seems to be wide enough.  no scroll bar here,....

will try the same at home inshallah....
